Privacy Policy
RigRate is built by Home Run Unit LLC. The short version: your data stays yours.
What RigRate stores
RigRate stores what you enter — truck costs, loads, routes, notes — on your device. If you turn on iCloud backup, it syncs to your own private iCloud account so it survives a phone change. It stays in your Apple account. We cannot see it and do not receive a copy.
The rate-con scan
When you scan a rate confirmation, RigRate uses Apple's on-device text recognition. The image is processed on your phone only. We do not upload, store, or receive your photos or their text.
What we do NOT do
RigRate has no accounts. Your loads, truck setup and history stay on your phone, with optional backup to your own iCloud. We do not run a server that receives your load or cost data. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data.
The first time you open RigRate, it asks "Do you run under your own authority?" Your answer is stored only on your phone and is never sent anywhere.
Anonymous usage analytics
RigRate sends anonymous usage counts — for example, that a load was checked or a PDF was exported — to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in Germany. These signals are not linked to your identity. They contain no names, emails, locations, load amounts or rates. They are not used for advertising or tracking, and RigRate does not sell or share them. Purchases
RigRate is free. Purchases in older versions were processed by Apple. RigRate never sees your payment details.
Children
RigRate is a business tool for truckers and is not directed to children under 13.
Your control
Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud. Delete a load in the app to remove it, or delete the app and turn off its iCloud data to remove it entirely.

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here.
